Pet Weight & Breed Guidelines

Maximum Weight Limit: Strictly intended for small pets weighing up to 10–11 lbs (5 kg).

Suitable Breeds: Ideal for puppies, toy dogs (Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Pomeranians, Toy Poodles, Malteses, Miniature Pinschers), and calm indoor cats or kittens.

Not Suitable For: Medium or large breeds, active chewers, or pets exceeding 11 lbs. Attempting to carry heavier animals compromises seam integrity, causes neck and back strain for the wearer, and risks accidental falls.
Safe Wearing & Daily Usage Protocols

Two-Point Support: While the pouch features heavy-duty reinforced seams, always rest one hand beneath the pouch base when walking, bending down, or standing up to provide structural spinal support for your pet.

Unobstructed Airway: Ensure your pet’s snout and mouth remain completely visible and outside the top rim of the pocket at all times. Never cover the pouch opening with blankets or zip garments over the pocket.

Prohibited Activities: Do not use the hoodie while cooking near open heat, operating machinery, driving, running, cycling, or participating in high-impact physical exercises.

Constant Supervision: The pouch is intended for attentive, shared bonding time (working at a desk, relaxing on the couch, light walking). Never leave a pet unattended inside the pocket while you sleep.

Temperature Awareness: Thick thermal sherpa naturally traps body heat. Monitor your pet for signs of panting or restlessness, and remove them from the pouch if room temperatures rise above 72°F (22°C).

When to Size Up: If you fall between sizes, plan to layer thicker shirts underneath, or want extra breathing room around your torso while your pet rests in the pouch, we strongly recommend ordering one size up.
